Settima Meccanica presents the new Triumflex pump.
The concept of this project is to introduce a modular design, very easy to manage for distributors and final customers, lowering the negative effects on the lead time for the huge number of product configurations required from the market.
As overall dimension, the new solution will be associable to the current Settima hollow shaft version, but with the possibility to run with a 2-poles motor (currently the hollow shaft version has the limitation that must be coupled with a 4-poles electric motor only).
The new product will have the main component in a basis pump produced in five different sizes (different displacements per each size), with a special geometry for the shaft.
The basis pump will be coupled to the electric motor through a specific joint (supplied by Settima Meccanica) and an adaptation flange, that will change according to the size of the needed electric motor.
This new concept will allow:
• To let the basis pump not to change for all the electric motor sizes.
• To have one single supplier for pump + coupling (and eventually the electric motor too).
• To add attachments on site (relief valve, anti-cavitation valve, different flange types, Etc.)
• To give the customer the possibility to re-configure the pump in case of needs, by replacing the attachments only.
• To always run coupled with a 2-poles motor. In some of the cases there could be used a smaller (and cheaper) size than the allowed current one.
