BREMBO ACQUIRES J.JUAN FOR 85 MILLION DOLLARS
Brembo reached an agreement with the Spanish motorcycle brake manufacturer J.Juan, which the Italian company will acquire for approximately 70 million euros (85 million dollars), price will be paid with available liquidity. Brembo, which produces brakes for automakers including Ferrari and Tesla, as well as several Formula One teams, said the acquisition aims to expand its business into the growing motorcycle sector. "We are proud to welcome J.Juan to the Brembo Group" declared Alberto Bombassei, Brembo's president.
Ideed, at the end of last year the Italian company acquired SBS Friction, a Danish company specializing in brake pads for motorcycles. "We continue to invest aiming at the core business of motorcycle".
J.Juan, has three plants in Spain and one in China that mainly produce brake hoses, thus complementing the current range of Brembo products for two wheels.
